Kia ora e te whānau

The next disaster could be just around the corner, which is why it's important that we are prepared to keep ourselves, our whānau and our friends safe. Part of being prepared is knowing what hazards we're at risk of here in the Bay of Plenty, so we know how we can get ready. These include earthquakes, tsunami or a severe weather event.

We (Bay of Plenty Civil Defence Emergency Management) would like to gather some information to help us figure out the level of disaster preparedness for the Bay of Plenty population. This ensure we know what our communities need and are able to provide the right resources and information.
